A narrow but routine sliver of my weekly wardrobe this summer: camp drop off. I am almost always on my way from or to working out, not quite ready to get dressed for the day and/or planning to shower after. It needs to be easy and comfortable. I have been getting a lot of wear out of Varley this summer — especially their Ollie shorts. BTW, I noticed that the Nordstrom Anniversary includes a handful of pieces from this brand, like this half-zip and these shorts! While we’re talking Nordstrom, I just added a couple of additional sale finds to my curation here, including our favorite almond shower gel (you’ll never use Gillette shave cream again) and two great pre-fall finds: these fantastic jeans from Madewell (go down one size in these) in a perfect olive green and this whipstitch jacket from Rails.

I’m not picking kiddos up from camp or school, but these are some stylish and easy outfit formulas for summer days of working from home/running errands/stepping out to see a friend! I love my LL Bean boat and tote the most in this season – I have one that has a painted monogram on it (a Christmas gift from a family I babysat for throughout grad school – it’s cherished!)
So glad this is more broadly applicable! I guess you’re right – these are just outfits for easy summer living, wherever that takes you: errands, sitting in the back yard, stopping by a friend’s, popping over to the coffee shop, etc.
