I was, candidly, delinquent about capturing photos of myself this week — has anyone else felt swept up by the tidal wave of back to school? I underestimated how complicated it would be to have my children in two separate schools with two very different on-ramp-to-school calendars and activities. Landon and I had to sit down for a solid thirty minutes to map out each and every pick up, drop off, hand off, errand, chore, etc with militaristic detail for this week, and then we pinned it all to our shared calendar so we wouldn’t be scrambling later in the week to remember who was doing what. It was honestly a little too much. We were gaping at each other and saying, “OK, and I guess somewhere in this spider web of ping-ponging around Maryland we will get ten or fifteen minutes to do actual work?” Anyway, I’m actually writing this earlier in the week, so I’m envious of the future Jen re-reading this right now. She’s somehow javelined her way through this dense week. I’m trying to have a more positive outlook at the moment but I’m overwhelmed! Anyway, onward, and in the meantime, enjoy this scant handful of photos from outfits I truly did love but neglected to photograph properly!
