Freshness.

Hi lovely ladies.  Thought I’d share today what’s been hovering at the top of my shopping list for the past week or so: I absolutely cannot resist an LWD in summer, setting aside how freaking impractical they are.  And this one ($112) is no different.  I just imagine wearing it over a tanned shoulder to a romantic dinner date and I’m sold. I’ve seen so many chic peas wearing white Ked-like sneakers over the last few seasons, and I want in.     Now, the question is — what pair?  Supergas ($65) are a classic, and an affordable option at that.  These Rag + Bones ($325, also shown below) have also caught my attention.  Of course, the Adidas by Raf Simmons pair (on sale for $141!) has gotten a lot of street style wear — though these Kaanas ($119) give them a good run for their money, especially with their funky leopard print splash.  What do you think? These gold pineapple tumblers ($34 each) make me want to throw a party or lay poolside with a cocktail…or both.  And how cute would these paper plates ($6) be alongside?!  Especially if you’re serving hors d’oeuvres with these precious food picks.     This shimmering body oil ($98) looks so rich and indulgent and perfect for summer.  I love all of Tom Ford’s fragrances.  Right now, I’m wearing (and LOVING) his Neroli Portofino scent, which smells like beach in a bottle. Talk about traveling in style ($400). I absolutely LOVE this pinafore dress ($300).  I imagine pairing it with a pair of classic Dr. Scholls ($88) and a funky woven clutch ($30).       Speaking of clutches, I know I’ve been featuring a lot of precious embroidered box styles in the $200 range recently — epic pieces like this Serpui Marie floral ($233) and this catcus print from Kayu ($184).  So I was SO FREAKING EXCITED to find a $98 strawberry patterned one at Anthro and immediately snatched it up.  Perfect with LWDs this summer. I’ve seen a bunch of chic peas wearing these platformed espadrilles from Chloe ($625). I’m intrigued.  Apparently they’re uber comfy.  And these lookalikes give the Chloes a run for their money at only $160. For years, I’ve been keeping our bathrooms stocked with Molton + Brown hand soap ($28) — and I’ve hooked many-a-guest (including my mother!) on their elegant scents.  This rhubarb + rose concoction is my absolute favorite.  Just restocked my powder room with it! I know I’ve been all over Self Portrait this season (such.fab.dresses), but I’ve come across a couple of labels that are putting out that lacey/mixed-medium look for a fraction of the cost.  Check out this top ($79) or this coordinating top ($98) and skirt ($98).  Or this $45 (!!!!) white lace dress.  WOW.  Or this Tularosa ($180) — also available in top form here for $138 (get the look for less with this $51 steal).  But P.S. There are lots of Self-Portrait beauties on sale right now, including this dress I just snapped up, and this stunner.  And this navy lovely is a slam dunk.
